Tubes went well

Greyson had his tubes put in on Monday, and the surgery went really well. It took about 5 minutes which is amazing! The doctor told us that he had tons of fluid in his ears, so it was a good thing we decided to go through with it. I can already tell he is feeling better and hearing better!

As a side note, Greyson has started counting. When asked to count to ten, he sometimes says one, two, three, four, seven, nine... It's definitely not in order, but he is definitely trying which is so fun to see!

It's Rodeo Time

We took Greyson to the rodeo this past Sunday and he loved it! His favorite thing was the pony ride by far! He was grinning from ear to ear! He also enjoyed the petting zoo and the tractors on display. Sheryl, Toby and Brody joined us and the boys had a great time!

Greyson's 1st Girlfriend

Our friends Angie, Mark, and their daughter Izzy were in Austin for part of their Spring Break, so we met them out at Lakeway Resort where they were staying. Greyson and Izzy were like two peas in a pod, and Greyson is offically in LOVE! He even tried to steal a kiss from Izzy! We had a great time with them on Saturday night and hope to reunite the two love birds soon!

Tubes on Monday

Our visit with the ENT went well and he is recommending tubes. Of course I don't like the idea of our little boy being put under, but I think it will definitely help reduce the number of ear infections and doctors visits. So, I am looking forward to that aspect. We were really lucky in the fact that when I called today they had an available surgery slot for this coming Monday, March 23rd. Hopefully all will go as planned and he will be back to normal the next day or even that afternoon! Please keep our little boy in your prayers! We really appreciate all of them!

ENT

Our poor little Greyson has been sick on and off again for the last 3-4 months. Before this winter, he had only had one or two ear infections, but this winter he has had tons. On Friday we went to our pediatrician to see if his most recent ear infection had cleared, and sure enough he still has fluid in his ears. Although it wasn't infected, it was still there. So, tomorrow we are going to visit an ENT to see what he says. Greyson was fine all weekend long and this morning he was very cranky, and didn't want to eat (all of the past symptoms of an ear infection for him). I sent him to school and got a call this afternoon that he had a fever and just wasn't himself. Poor guy!!! We are so ready for him to get better!!! Please pray that all goes well with the ENT and we can soon put all of this to rest!

Wonderful Weekend

After a difficult week filled with taking Greyson to the doctor's office, nebulizer treatments, etc., we had a fantastic weekend!!! On Saturday we took Greyson to Dell Diamond (where the Round Rock Express baseball team plays) to an open house filled with things for the kiddos to do. For the most part Greyson just ran around the ball park and absolutely loved it!

Later that afternoon we had a photographer come and take some maternity/family pics. Her name is Nicole Whelan and she is amazing!!!!!! We just got the pictures today and you can view them at: http://greysonmartin.shutterfly.com

Saturday evening we had fun babysitting our nephew Brody. Greyson absolutely loves playing with him. In fact his first words were "Brody" on Sunday morning when I went to get him in his crib. Sunday we tried out a church and then Grandpa and Grandma Martin came to visit. It was a very busy but great weekend
