1.5 stats

Monday we had Greyson's 18 month old well check and here are his latest stats:

Weight: 25.14 lbs.--55%
Height: 32.25 inches --50%
Head: 49.5 cm--93%

Greyson is still quite the talker and is learning new words everyday. Mike and I swear that he has even repeated "I love you" back to us a couple of times. He is starting to form two and three word phrases. He is fascinated with trucks and tractors and constantly asks us to read his "My Big Truck" book to him. He is still a very healthy eater, and his favorite meal is breakfast. He can eat much more than I can at breakfast. He has become very good with his spoon and fork and can for the most part feed himself.

What an amazing little boy he is! We know that he will make a great big brother!

The Big D

Last Friday Greyson and I drove up to Dallas to visit Aunt Renae, Uncle Jeff, Cruz and Ezra. Mike was already in Decatur with his dad for a swap meet and met us in Dallas on Saturday afternoon. The boys had such a great time together!!! It is so fun to watch them interact and play together as there is never a dull moment. Greyson loved their sandbox and is now begging his Daddy to build one for him (-: He also loves climbing Cruz' bathroom stool and turning the water on. We couldn't keep him away from the sink!!!

On Saturday afternoon, Greyson and I also got to visit with my good friend Christen, her husband, and daughter Brooklyn (who is about a month older than Greyson) before Christen gave birth to her second baby. It took a while for Greyson to come out of his shell, but once he did, he and Brooklyn had lots of fun together. Christen, Laird and Brooklyn welcomed their new addition today! Congrats on your new baby girl, Stella Louise!!!!

New Things

Grey is now a little over 17 months and is doing so many new things it is amazing!!!!!!! Mike and I could spend hours just watching him. He is so entertaining!
  • He loves footballs and loves to try and throw them to you (which consists of dropping it on the floor for you to pick it up, or dropping it behind his back). He even learned how to say "poopall" on Super Bowl Sunday. Now every ball is a "poopall"!
  • He starting singing parts of songs. For instance he'll sing "Round and Round all town" from the Wheels on the Bus, and "Ashes, Ashes fall down" from Ring around the Rosey. It is quite funny since you never know when he'll break out in tune!
  • He is a wagon addict. The minute I put his shoes on in the morning to go to school he shouts "waton", "waton" over and over. And the minute we turn onto our street after picking him up from school, he shouts it again. He just can't get enough of his wagon rides!!!!
  • It seems he is finally a "Momma's boy". It's about time!!! He is definitely at the stage where he wants me a lot, which I am cherishing, since I know it won't last long.
