Introducing Maggie Elizabeth

We had our baby GIRL on May 15th. She weighed 7lbs. 14oz and was 20.5 inches long. We are very excited! Greyson loves his baby sister and so far has been really good around her. Hopefully that continues. I have already learned that girl clothes will get you into trouble. Ha!

Park time pics

We went to a birthday party on Sunday and decided to stop by the park on the way home. Greyson didn't want to leave and could have stayed in the swing for hours. He threw a huge fit when we had to leave... when we got home that evening he started singing "Happy Birthday to you". It was so cute to hear his little voice sing those words! We'll have to try and get it on video to post. Happy Birthday Mason and Maya! We had a great time at your party!

River Fun

Last weekend we went to the Blanco River in Wimberley to celebrate our friend Joe's 30th birthday. We had such a great time and Greyson absolutely loved the river. The river was pretty low which was awesome for Greyson. Thanks Joe and Lacey! Happy 30th Joe!

14 Days Remaining

Wow! Only 14 more days til my due date and the arrival of our new addition! I am so anxious to find out if it's a he or a she! Either way it will be so much fun and I'm sure exhausting as well. Greyson is sure to be a wonderful big brother! I think he may be on to something, but we will see. I have started saying that he is soon going to have his very own baby, and he seems to be excited about it. He is such a blessing!

Up All Night

Wow! Last night was quite a night. I heard Greyson on the monitor around 12:30 a.m. gasping for air. Mike and I ran upstairs and he was still having a hard time breathing. It was really scary, so Mike and I decided we needed to call 911. A couple of minutes later we had an ambulance and a fire truck at our house (that's definitely a first and hopefully a last for us)! By the time they arrived, he had improved, but the response team suggested we take him to the ER to be evaluated. Well, after about 4 hours at Dell Children's Hospital, they concluded that it was the croup. Very weird since he hadn't had a fever, and had coughed only a couple of times. They gave him a dose of steroids and sent us on our way. He is doing fine, just a little cranky from lack of sleep last evening. I'm still not convinced 100% that it's the croup, but we will probably know more after this evening. Please keep him in your prayers!

Potty

This may be too much information for some, but I couldn't resist posting cause I am very excited for Grey and had to jot this down for my record keeping purposes! This morning while getting ready for school I was changing his wet diaper when he said poo poo. He has said this other times and not gone, and some times says it and goes. So, I asked him if he needed to go poo poo and he replied poo poo. So, then I thought I'd offer the potty to him, to which he responded potty. We then went downstairs and I asked him if he wanted to sit on his potty, which he did. A few minutes went by and he was just sitting there playing with one of his toys. So, I decided I would leave the bathroom and hang out in the living room to see what he would do. He immediately got up, closed the door, and sat back down. I then peeked in to check and see what was going on... He was just sitting on the potty, so I closed the door and walked away. Well, a few minutes later I heard him get up, so I went in there and he had gone #1 AND #2 in the potty!!!!!!!! I am so proud of him!!!! This is probably just a fluke, so we will see. Regardless, I am very proud of him. Yea Greyson!!!
